Christina was born and raised in Germany (Bavaria) but left about 24 years ago. She’s lived the majority of the time afloat in many different countries along the way and sailed into NZ nearly 18 years ago at the end of 2006 with her husband and baby and her daughter was born in NZ in 2007. She’s lived life quite differently to most people and she has roughly 55,000 miles under her belt, sailing offshore and crossing oceans.

She studied banking in Germany and completed a 3 year cadetship at one of the largest banks and became qualified in all aspects of banking (personal, business, lending, investments, foreign trade, insurances) gaining a qualification from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. And from then on she has worked in banking, sales and customer service roles all her life and also worked in banking in NZ for 6 years doing personal and business banking as well as lending.

Working in the financial industry, as a banking consultant in particular, requires great attention to detail, excellent time management skills and a high level of organisation while working in a fast-paced environment. Building rapport and excellent customer service is crucial to building relationships with customers. She prides herself on being honest, reliable, flexible and adaptable and always strives for improvement and perfection. She loves a challenge, having built her own home on a steep section and rebuilt an 80ft racing yacht – ‘difficult or impossible’ are not words that put her off things!

As a banking consultant she helped people to purchase their home or buy rental properties. She enjoys being on the other side of the equation and be a part of the vendors journey of selling their properties and helping our Real Estate Salespeople to achieve the best outcome for vendors and making it a smooth process.
