- Attending a ViewingViewings are run on a tight schedule, please arrive on time to meet with the property manager and look through the property for the full allocated 15 minute viewing slot. To accommodate the most interested applicants as possible, multiple applicants will be invited to the same viewing.
- Submitting a Tenancy ApplicationFollowing a property viewing, if you decide that you would like to go forward, please complete and submit a tenancy application form online at www.tpsportal.co.nz/tenancy_application/tps1373. You will be asked to provide proof of identity, the personal and contact details of all tenants included in the application, financial status (proof of ability to pay rent), rental history or resume, and rental and personal references. The rental market is extremely competitive, so we also recommend including a personal note with your application to strengthen your application.
- Waiting to be ContactedOur role as Property Managers is to find the most suitable tenant and we review each application seriously. As part of this process, we conduct rental reference checks from past landlords, credit checks, and employment check. We will never misuse or pass on your confidential information to other organisations. You will be notified if your application has been successful or not.
- Upon AcceptanceYour Harcourts Tenancy Manager will be in touch to discuss your tenancy agreement. You will be asked to pay a bond and at least two week’s rent in advance. An ingoing inspection report will be prepared and you will be asked to add your own observations, once you have received the keys. Learn more about these terms below.
